ADVANCED WORKSHOPS

 Advanced Intensive Workshops at
Simply Dance

 how many to expect and also if there are 
no dancers I will want to let the instructor know.

Reminder ~ If you plan on auditioning I need to set a time up for you the schedule is filling up. Auditions are on August 29th from 11-3p

**   Yoga-Motion     a Workshop

 

 

Guest Artist:  Yoga practitioner, Barbara Rooney
 Co-Instructor:  Miss Diane

 

Using Yoga postures as a basis for structural strength, and an explanation of anatomy for dancers, learn how to increase strength and flexibility to your dance moves. 

 

Miss Diane and Barbara Rooney will show you how you can use yoga for better posture and positioning.  Expand from the tree pose to releve and passé.  Extend from mountain pose to the best balance you can achieve.  Learn how to prevent injuries to the ankles and knees.  Use what you learn from the warrior pose to strengthen your arabesque.
