CLARA'S DREAM
The Following is important rehearsal and performance
information. Please feel free to call, email or talk to us
in regard to this information there is a lot to remember,
All performances will take place at Burroughs High School.
Rehearsal Schedule at Simply Dance ~
Week of November 26th
Monday November 26th ~ All classes take place
until 6pm.
From 6-8 advanced dancers only rehearse Act 1 and 2.
Tuesday ~ November 27th ~ All regular classes no Rehearsal.
Wednesday ~ November 28th ~ All classes take place
including 5:30 Ballet 1-2
Advanced dancers only Act 1 and 2 5:30.
Thursday ~ November 29th ~ All classes take place
including Tap at 4:30 ` Advanced dancers Act 1 and 2 4:30.
Friday ~ November 30 ~ Everyone (except combo age 3,4,5)
Act 1 and 2 ~ 3:00p.
Saturday ~ December 1, No class No Rehearsal
Pictures 10-2 you have to make an appt with Donna Hocker.
Sugarplum Tea 12-2p.
Sunday ~ December 2, Rehearsal for Everyone including combo ages 3,4,5 Act 1 and 2 at 3:00.
***Advanced dancers you can come a little early and warm up on your own.
After this week all activity will take place at Burroughs.
Performance Week ~ All At Burroughs
Monday ~ December 3rd ~ Dress Rehearsal 5:30, if you are in Act 2
you don't have to come until 6:30. No combo dancers
ages 3, 4, 5. Granny Tap class will dance first.
Tuesday ~ December 4th ~ Dress Rehearsal 5:30
All Dancers including 3, 4, 5 year olds thy will dance first.
Granny Tap Class will tap 2nd. Act 2 dancers can come at 6:30.
Wednesday ~ December 5th ~ Performance
Performance starts at 6p call time is at 5p
Dancers that are 3, 4, 5 years old can come at 5:30
Meet in the lobby.
Thursday ~ December 6th ~ Performance
Performance starts at 6p call time is at 5p
Dancers that are 3, 4, 5 years old can come at 5:30
Meet in the lobby.
Friday ~ December 7th ~ Performance
Performance starts at 6p call time is at 5p
Dancers that are 3, 4, 5 years old can come at 5:30
Meet in the lobby.
Combo dancers 3, 4, 5 years can dance all 3 nights 1 night
2 whatever you feel comfortable doing. they will dance first
every night.
**The studio will be closed until after the New Year.
Important Events ~
Formal Pictures with Sierra photography December 1
You need to make an appt. for this.
Sugarplum Tea ~ From 12 - 2p
Little ones love this come take pictures with the advanced
dancers and get autographs !!!! Lots of sweet treats
cost is $2.
Christmas Parade ~ December 8th
Meet by Grace Lutheran church at 9a
Parade starts at 10...Wear your costumes from the show.
Misc information ~
Tickets are on sale now at the studio
$10 ~General $8 military, student, senior citizens.
Will be available at Bread of Life and Red Rock Books shortly
check with us first.
Sweatshirts and T-shirts have been ordered
thank you Aurora.
Ad's for the Keepsake program $5 for just ad $10 with a picture.
The Performance will be videotaped.
Volunteers ~
We always need volunteers to make this production
successful. We can use Baked goods, helping hands
at the intermission bake sale, Ticket Takers,
people to hand out programs etc...
See the front desk to volunteer.
Theater Rules and Etiquette ~
THERE CAN BE NO FOOD, DRINK OR GUM IN THE THEATER.
No Flash photography
If you must leave the theater during the performance
please wait until the dance on stage has finished
everyone has worked so hard for their time on stage
it is courteous to wait until they are done dancing.
Dancers ~ Pay close attention to the line up of the show.
The line ups will be posted all over the theater back stage.
Dancers have missed their cue when not paying attention.
There will be a green room set up for those dancers
that have more than 2 dances.
The dancers that have just one dance will wait in the band
room across from the back door of the theater.
The advanced dancers will have the 2 dressing rooms
Jr high-Adult.
Please leave all your jewelry at home.
Please put you name or initials on all your dance wear
it is expensive. We keep a lost and found box
after the production it is easier to find any of your items left behind if the dancers name is on it.
Make-up for all dancers except the advanced dancers ~
Blush, soft eye shadow blue or green, rosy colored lip color,
mascara and darken eyebrows if needed.
