Performance Time ~ 6:30   Adv Dancer call time  ~ 5:30

Younger Dancers with (1) dance call time ~ 6:00

Personal Ads  Please turn in your ads as soon as possible.

$5 for just a message and $10 a message with a picture.

This is a lovely way to congratulate your dancer.

You will get a keepsake program with the  purchase of an ad.

Extra Keepsake programs can be purchased for $10.

Volunteers We are always looking for volunteers

to take tickets, bake, help with little ones.

Tickets are on sale at Red Rock Books and Bread of Life

Everyone who has paid the performance fee of $20

gets 2 tickets you can only get these tickets at the studio.

All soloists get 2 complimentary tickets.

Parade The parade will be on Saturday December 13th

everyone is welcome!!! We will meet at 9am in between

Home depot and the Lutheran Church. the Parade starts

at 10am. There will be adults on the float if you want your little ones

to ride.

AUDITIONS-  Auditions will take place on Sunday,

August 17th at 3p.

Be prepared to take a advanced ballet class.

If you are "En Pointe" please bring your shoes.

Please dress in black and pink with your hair in a bun.

You may wear a skirt if you choose.

After class one by one you will have about .30 sec

To talk to the judges. 

We will be doing, "The Nutcracker" at Christmas time

And "The Wizard of Oz" in the Spring plus a variety 

Show.

Summer News-

Registration will be June 11th and 12th from 4-7p

The schedule will be at registration, I am working on it now.

If it is done before next week I will  post it on the blog and Facebook.

Summer program will be 2nd week of July to the first week of August.

First day of school is August 12th.

The week of August 4th will be the Advanced Intensive.

Costume Information spring 2014

** Unless otherwise stated-All ballet classes will wear Pink tights & Pink Ballet shoes (boys in black shoes and Black socks). All Jazz & Tap classes are in black shoes, and Tan tights (Or if they are wearing pants you may choose to wear black socks or knee-high hose). Modern classes are in Tan, footless or convertible tights and Tan foot undeez or barefoot.**All girls’ hair should be drawn back out of their faces in the front, down in the back and curled.
If your bangs are long pull them back and pin them out of your face!

**If renting a costume from the studio, there is a $10.00 costume cleaning fee (Make checks payable to Simply Dance) and the costume must be returned by July 15, 2014 or you will be charged the replacement cost of the costume. If you have any questions, please ask your teacher or Call Michelle (760)-384-1327 **If a costume is being ordered or made for you please make checks payable to Michelle Ostrom

**ALL COMBO CLASSES (3-6 Years old). Your child will be inRapunzel. They will dance close to intermission, and carry a lantern. The girls will need to have their hair curled and pulled out of their face. They will need to wear a Pretty "Easter/Spring" Dress (any color), pink tights and Pink Ballet shoes. I will be ordering all of the girls Flower Halos and a Lantern. Cost is $10.00.

Monday:

Jazz 1 3:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, “Hot, Hot, Hot” they will be wearing a shirt, colorful skirt, and a flower in their hair. The cost will be $7.50
Beg. Pointe 4:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, you will need black trunks or bootie shorts. Aurora and I will be making you shirt and dress. The cost is $15.00
Pre-Pointe 5:30 -- Will be dancing in the Variety Show you will need a black leotard. You will be borrowing a colorful overlay. ($10.00 costume rental)
Adv. Ballet 5:30 -- Will be dancing in Rapunzel and Variety You will be in the Village scene you will need to wear Romantic (mid-calf) tutus If you need help finding one, we have a few at the studio you can rent. ($10.00 costume fee)
For the Variety Show you will need to wear a black leotard any style and long Black chiffon skirts if I ordered it for you the cost is $18.00.
Adult comb 7:15 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, “Book of Love” you will wear long white Dress with pink flowers from last year, with white or pink leotard.
Contemporary 7:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, for both dances you will need graphic print legging. You will also need an extra big white t-shirt and any black shirt. Hair in high ponytail.

Tuesday:

Private Tap Classes (Mia, Sarah, Emily) – Will be the Dancing in the Variety Show. You will need black pants. They will rent a red sparkle top, and long red gloves from the studio ($10.00 costume fee)
Adult Tap 3:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, you will need Black pants a suitcase and the blouses that were order from Kols. Please pay Miss Helene (cost$35.40)
Jazz/Modern 3-4 3:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, you will be borrowing a red and black top form the studio. This will be a $10.00 costume rental. You will also need black bike shorts that were ordered for you. The cost for them is $4.25
Ballet 4-6 4:30-- Will be dancing in Rapunzel, You will be wearing either a purple or a burgundy chiffon dress form the studio ($10.00 costume fee).
Private 5:30 (Emily & Sierra) -- Will be dancing in Rapunzel, You will be wearing pink ribbon tutu dresses they will also have ribbons to dance with ($10.00 costume fee).
Jr/HS Comb 5:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, You will be wearing a Red and white “candy cane” dress from the studio ($10.00 costume fee).
Adv Ballet 6:30 -- Will be dancing in the Variety Show, “The Red Violin” You will be wearing red lyrical dresses (of your chose). If you need help finding one, we have a few at the studio you can rent. ($10.00 costume fee) Hair down and bangs out of your face

Wednesday:

Adult Ballet 11:00- Will Not be performing
Ballet 3-4 3:30 -- Will be dancing in Rapunzel (Braiding of the hair) you will wear pastel dresses and white tutus. ($10.00 costume fee) You will need either a white or a light colored sleeveless leotard to wear underneath.
Int-Adv Tap 4:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, you will be wearing a pink lace top & black skirt that I ordered for you. (Cost is $17.65) You need to order the striped tights (Discount Dance 9172). You will also need a black sleeveless leotard to wear underneath.
Pointe 4:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, you will wear Pink “Snow tutu” Ellen and I will be making accent pieces to go with them. ($10.00 costume fee) (Pointe shoes) Your hair will be in a bun.
Adv Comb Tap/Jazz 6:30 Will be dancing in two different dances in the Variety Show, for Jazz you will be wearing a jazz top of you choice. If you need help finding one, we have a few at the studio you can rent and black jazz pants. ($10.00 costume fee)
For Tap a fringe dress was order for you the cost is $27.54.

Thursday:

Granny/Gramp Tap 10:00 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, “Train Theme” The men will be wearing overalls and the woman will wear Turn o f the Century dresses If you need help finding one, we have a few at the studio you can rent. ($10.00 costume fee)
Int. Jazz 3:30 will be dancing in the Varity Show, you will be wearing a red and Black tunic/dress ($10.00 costume fee). You will also need black leggings.
Adv Ballet 4: 30 will be dancing in Rapunzel You will be in the Village scene you will need to wear Romantic (mid-calf) tutu/dress. If you need help finding one, we have a few at the studio you can rent. ($10.00 costume fee)
Ballet 2-3 4:30 Will be dancing in Variety Show (princess and the pauper), You will be wearing a Pink or Blue tutu ($10.00 costume fee).
Ballet 1-2 5:30 Will be bunnies in Rapunzel You will wear a white dresses & bunny ears from the studio ($10.00 costume fee) you will also need white long sleeve leotards. If I ordered one for you the cost is $15.00.
Adv Lyrical 6:00 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, I have order you a eggplant colored lace dress the cost is $41.80
Adv Ballet 6:30 -- Will be dancing in the both shows. In Variety Show you will need any Shirt and you will need black dance shorts and tan tights. For “Rapunzel” you will be wearing white tutus and feather overlays you will also need white leotards ($10.00 costume fee).
Adv Ballet Comb 7:00 -- Will be dancing in the Variety show you will need “Pairs clothes” If you need help finding something let me know. (Pointe shoes)
Friday:
Family Tap 3:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, the men will be in tuxedo and the women/girls will be wearing black and/or white formal dresses. If you need help finding one, we have a few at the studio you can rent. ($10.00 costume fee)
Tap 4-6 3:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, you will be renting black and white Poke a dot dresses ($10.00 costume fee).
Jazz/Mod 4-6 4:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show you will be wearing Pajamas’.
Pre-Adv Jazz Mod 4:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, you will be ordering Shirts from discount dance #JJT0573 and cropped leggings.
Jr. High/HS Ballet Combo 5:30 Will be dancing in both shows. For Rapunzel you will be ogres. You will be renting shirts and belts you will need to also wear black leggings. For Variety Show you will be renting ether a white or black tunic you will need to wear with it a sleeveless leotard and tights of the same color. Check with your teacher as to which color you are. ($10.00 costume fee)
Tap 1-2 5:30 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, I will be giving you a top hat to borrow, costume on own.

Saturday:

Adv Modern 11:00 Will be dancing in the Variety Show, I have order a red chiffon dress for you the cost is $18.00
